Lapplands Kommunalförbund is an association of the municipalities of Kiruna, Gällivare, Jokkmokk, and Pajala that collaborates in upper secondary education, adult education, energy and climate advice, procurement, and personal representatives. The region has about 55,000 inhabitants and covers over 60,000 square kilometers. Approximately 350 employees work within the federation.

Lapplands Gymnasium is the joint upper secondary organization for Gällivare, Jokkmokk, Kiruna, and Pajala. Our four schools together offer about 20 programs and have a total of around 2000 students, located in Sweden's largest and most distance-dependent region. Our school organization is situated in Sweden's largest region, where distances can be significant, but we always strive to be close and accessible to our students and employees. Far away but still close. Our vision is to offer unique and attractive education of the highest quality.

Lapplands Gymnasium - Jokkmokk offers national programs EE, NA, SA, TE, VO, and IM. Additionally, there is a Sami program, the Sami Community Program, which is a special variant within SA that we are the only ones to offer in all of Sweden. In the Electrical and Energy Program, the school has two nationally recruiting vocational paths: hydropower technician and distribution electrician. Lapplands Gymnasium Jokkmokk also has an adapted upper secondary school.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a substitute teacher for the Adapted Upper Secondary School for a limited period. The assignment includes teaching and planning, documentation, and mentorship. The work is carried out in collaboration with the work team and follows the school's regular routines.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a teaching license and qualifications for teaching in the Adapted Upper Secondary School, or who has other educational training that the employer assesses as equivalent. Experience with the target group is an advantage.

You should be able to work independently and in close collaboration with the work team, very closely with our students. You have the ability to meet smaller student groups at very different knowledge levels and feel comfortable handling various disabilities. You are a positive, engaged, patient, and flexible person. You have good leadership with clear routines and provide students with in-depth knowledge and the opportunity to grow. You are motivated by collaboration and have a good understanding of how people absorb knowledge and are aware of people's different conditions. We will place great importance on your personal suitability.
