DVT Assistans has been providing personal assistance to people with disabilities since its inception in 2005. We operate throughout Central Sweden based on the principles of Participation, Dignity, and Accessibility. We believe in individual solutions where the customer is always the focus. Together, we enable people with various disabilities to live like others and to have control over their own lives. Today, DVT employs about 200 personal assistants.

We are looking for a personal assistant for a schedule of about 50% for a brand new group around this wonderful customer.

The customer is a cheerful and social 13-year-old boy, and we are looking for motivated assistants who can help him get the most and best out of his days. He enjoys fun and activities and is happy when the people around him are engaged and can take the initiative to do activities. Some days, you as an assistant will be with him at school and short-term care.

The customer has a CP injury and is wheelchair-bound, receiving all his nutrition via a feeding tube. He needs help with all aspects of his daily living activities. He lives at home with his family and enjoys doing things with them, so it is a requirement that you as an assistant function well in social contexts as the family likes to socialize with friends and sometimes go away to events. It is very important that you as an assistant to this boy are responsible and meticulous. We hope that you have experience working in someone else's home. Being talkative and having a good sense of humor are also qualities we believe you possess. A good working environment is available with plenty of space for lifts and transfers and clear routines.

The schedule includes days, evenings, awake nights, and weekends, so it is important that you as a person are flexible, and since the customer lives in Sundbyholm, a car and driver's license are required. We are looking for assistants for 4-5 schedule lines with a workload of 80-90%. Please indicate which times of the day suit you.

We believe you are between 25-50 years old; gender does not matter. We would like you to have experience with epilepsy and have worked in healthcare. There are also suctioning, oxygen, and CPAP at the workplace. Due to extensive routines around the customer, documentation, and medication management, you need to be fully proficient in the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

• You must not be allergic to pets as there is a cat in the workplace.
• You must be smoke-free.
