Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Intensive Reception, Eskilstuna

Do you want to work with children and young people in a varied and team-based context? Are you interested in working with intensive interventions for children and adolescents with complex psychiatric issues? Does it sound exciting to work with emergency and on-call responsibilities? Do you want to help develop a cross-professional team and new working methods? Would you like to be involved in working with new technology and digital solutions for more accessible care?

If you also have warmth, humor, and enjoy laughter, you are warmly welcome to apply for a job with us!

About us

The Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Intensive Reception (BIM) is located in BUP's premises and is a team with eight positions, distributed among nurses, psychologists, and social workers. On-call doctors are also connected to the operation. BIM is responsible for meeting the psychiatric patients aged 0-17 in the northern part of the county for assessment and urgent interventions during the day. In addition to the on-call assignment, BIM offers tailored intensive interventions for patients with complex issues.

This may involve psychological treatment/CBT at home or in close collaboration with staff at local HVB, or medical follow-up on behalf of doctors. Finally, day care for anorexia patients is included in BIM's mission; here we collaborate with BUP's eating disorder team. We are now looking for someone who wants to work with CBT in a close-knit team that keeps the patient's needs in focus!

We strive to increase accessibility, provide equitable, effective, and patient-focused care. We want to further adapt and develop our treatment and collaboration efforts to meet the needs of patients and families. Investing in more mobile work may be an opportunity. We will become a newly established team, and together we look forward to an exciting time of development work to achieve our goals.
