Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, contributing to a smooth daily life.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done. The client has active interests such as cooking and gardening.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a woman in her 50s living in Vingåker
• has good knowledge of Swedish
• has experience working as a personal assistant or similar
• is handy and enjoys working in and taking care of someone's home
• can tolerate smoke (outdoors)

It is also an advantage if you:

• share the client's interests such as cooking and gardening

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The position is a summer temporary job from week 25 to 34 and is approximately 50-60%. The job involves working during the day from 08:00 to 17:10 on both weekdays and weekends on a rotating schedule.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.

Start dateAccording to agreement. It is a great advantage if you can start as a temporary worker immediately; please indicate this in your application.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present a valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
