Stureskolan is a grades 7-9 school located in central Boden with approximately 360 students. The school has a preparatory class for newly arrived students, adapted primary school, and an international school ISB (International School of Boden). Stureskolan is organized into four work teams, each with its own special educator who also serves as the team leader. The school has a well-developed local student health team consisting of the principal, deputy principals, special educators, school social workers, school nurses, school psychologists, and study and career counselors. The school also has a safety team consisting of two safety coordinators and several safety resources who actively work to create relationships and safety during breaks in the school's corridors and in our student café. Our focus areas are higher goal fulfillment, study peace, and we continuously develop and improve teaching in our work with BUUS (Boden systematically develops teaching).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who wants to work alongside our safety coordinator to ensure that our students feel comfortable and safe at school. Your most important task is to be a good role model and to be available for and create good conversations and relationships with our youth. You should also be able to lead various break activities for our youth. Furthermore, you should be able to conduct preventive work, which means you should be available and visible primarily in the corridors, but also in the student café, dining hall, and other school buildings. You understand and manage groups, conflicts, and other situations that may arise at school.

The position is 80% employment, fixed-term from 250818 to 251219, with a possibility of extension.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has an interest in and experience with meeting youth in groups and is accustomed to collaborating in groups. You are confident in yourself and your leadership and are a good role model for others. You have an interest in physical activity. Previous leadership experience is an advantage.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
