Security Guard at Avarn Security in Enköping

As a security guard at Avarn Security, you will have an exciting daily routine where your task is to enhance our customers' safety and promote a safer environment.

A patrolling security guard works with preventive security. You will be mobile and visit customers in your district/area to check that alarms are activated, windows and doors are closed and locked, electrical equipment is turned off, and that no unauthorized persons are present on the premises/area. Patrol monitoring is performed both indoors and outdoors, mostly at night, and you will work in shifts. The job is independent and mobile.

In stationary monitoring, you work at the customer's site. This can involve everything from reception work to patrolling and staffing security centers. Avarn Security is looking for an experienced receptionist for the reception in Enköping on a full-time basis.

About the Position

As a security guard for this client, you will have overall responsibility for the reception where the service level towards external visitors, suppliers, and the client's own staff is of great importance. A selection of tasks includes handling access card administration, alarm and camera monitoring, patrolling, etc. You will be an important part of the client's operations and are expected to deliver service and support based on the developed service concept for your area of responsibility.

Work Location: Enköping

Scope: Full-time

Working Hours: 05:30-16:30

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who wants to work in a safety-promoting role and has a natural ability to combine service with a pronounced security mindset. You are meticulous and structured in your work approach as there is a considerable amount of administrative work involved. Furthermore, you are communicative, empathetic, clear, and have the ability to be flexible and adapt your way of solving arising situations in the best way. We seek individuals with inner security and a natural drive to help. You are proactive with good body language and understand the importance of meeting customers professionally, with eye contact and a smile.

To be qualified for the position, you need to meet the basic requirements:

• Experience in a similar service-related role in a personnel-intensive environment
• Fluent Swedish in spoken and written form
• Good English in spoken and written form
• A valid security guard training (VU1+VU2) is an advantage

You also need to be without a criminal record*, drug-free, have a stable economy, good health and fitness, and a high school diploma or equivalent education.

It is advantageous if you have previous experience working with software related to security and service, such as access control, camera and alarm monitoring systems, and visitor management systems.
