Falck Rescue Service has prior experience in providing rescue services at airports and nuclear power plants. We are now making an investment towards heavier industries, refineries, mines, and other operations that currently have their own rescue services. The Workplace

At Forsmarks Kraftgrupp AB, approximately 1500 people work with nuclear power production. Falck Rescue Service has 21 permanent employees responsible for fire protection through preventive and remedial work. At Forsmark, there are five daytime fire technicians who are responsible for SBA work, as well as four shift teams with an Internal Fire Chief and three firefighters in each group who perform supervision and control rounds.

The Position

As a firefighter in Falck's team at Forsmark, you will be involved in operational rescue services, systematic fire protection work (SBA), training, fire service assignments, and maintaining order at the fire station and training site.

As a substitute, you will be called in as needed, with longer substitutes possible.

Experience and Education

To match the assignment, you need to be a trained firefighter through completed GRIB, Rescue Operations, SMO training, or equivalent older training. You also need to have a C driver's license, and it is advantageous if you are trained as a Rescue Leader A.

Being drug-free and without a criminal record is a requirement we and our client impose on ourselves, which means that drug testing for employment and a background check will be conducted. Furthermore, you need to have good physical fitness for the job, and tests before employment will be conducted according to AFS 2007:7, approved Smoke and Chemical Diver to ensure physical ability – for your own and others' safety at work.

Employment

The position is a full-time substitute.

I, who will be your manager, am Fredrik Carlquist, and I have worked at Falck since 2019 and have been responsible for Falck's operations at Forsmark since the turn of the year. For me, it is important that we in the team work together for the best work environment and well-being!
