Production Project Manager at Jefferson Wells

Jefferson Wells is looking for a Production Project Manager to drive development and production projects within SAAB - Dynamics.

The goal is to ensure that our customers receive their products on time and with the right quality. You will lead and coordinate project members within production technology, planning, purchasing, production quality, and other production areas, as well as have many points of contact within programs and development.

In this role, you will project manage the industrialization and production of various missile products.

Your main responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and execute development and production projects
• Lead industrialization and drive product maturity
• Achieve, report, and follow up on project goals and metrics
• Identify and manage risks within the projects
• Create and maintain good relationships with stakeholders within projects and programs
• Report project status to the steering group

You will belong to the Missile Project Office, which is the production interface to the Missile business unit. The Project Office is responsible for market and bid support, project and order management, and configuration management. We are located in several places, and this position is based in Linköping.

Your profile:

We are looking for someone with solid experience in production, preferably within the process industry, and who has worked with project management. We would like you to have a technical background in the form of relevant higher education or equivalent.

You are motivated by working goal-oriented and thrive with a high degree of responsibility. It is important that you have a strong commitment, are driven, and can take your own initiatives. We see you as a person who makes things happen while taking responsibility for the results. You should be able to work both operationally and strategically and collaborate with employees at various levels in the company.

Requirements for the role:

• Relevant higher education in engineering or equivalent work experience
• At least 3 years of experience in project management and manufacturing industry
• Good language skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Driver's license

Meritorious:

• Understanding of production processes: planning, preparation, purchasing, quality, manufacturing, and delivery
• Experience in production management and production technology
