What does the role entail?
As a receptionist, you are responsible for providing our guests with world-class service. You are the spider in the web, ensuring that the guest is always the focus. You go through the arrival list and pay attention to the details, making sure that guests' wishes are fulfilled. You always have a smile on your face and a creative solution up your sleeve. You solve most issues and are a star at turning an unhappy guest into a satisfied one. Your workplace is our lobby, where you meet most guests. Your responsibilities also include administrative work, safety tasks, and sales work.
The job in the reception involves checking in and out hotel guests, welcoming them, and providing the necessary information about their stay. You handle bookings in the Opera Cloud system and manage administrative tasks related to guests and safety. All work is done with guest satisfaction and sales in focus.
The hotel is open 24/7, so it is important that you enjoy working shifts (mornings, afternoons, and weekends).
Who are you?
To fit this role, we believe you have well-developed social skills and can handle multiple tasks simultaneously. It is essential that you can convey excellent hospitality to the hotel’s guests.
You also have experience and knowledge of working with a computer as a tool.
Since the job largely involves communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite. If you speak another language, it is an advantage.
However, the most important are your personal qualities and attitude. To fit this role, you need to be a responsive and unpretentious team player who takes significant responsibility for your tasks and the overall result.
Information about the position
The position is part-time at 50% during the summer.
