RESPONSIBILITIES

As an electrical technician, you will be part of a smaller team of technicians working together on our contract Coast to Coast West. It stretches from Almedal to Värnamo and Herrljunga to Borås. Here we work with the operation and maintenance of the entire railway facility where you, as an electrical technician, focus on maintenance and troubleshooting of overhead lines, switch heating, lighting, and power supply. To thrive in the role, we see that you enjoy working in a team, want to learn, and independently drive your work forward.

You have the opportunity to be flexible as travel, on-call duty at home, and weekend and night work occur. We therefore expect you to live in the local area.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• High school education with a focus on electricity or equivalent.
• Ability to work varying hours.
• Driver's license B (manual).
• Meets medical requirements to be approved for safety service.

Meritorious:

• Work experience as an electrician or electrical technician.
• Post-secondary education in railway technology.
• Competence as a connection leader for overhead lines.
• Experience in railway maintenance.
• Authorization to operate track vehicles.
• Driver's license C.
• Authorization from the Electrical Safety Authority.
