The work of the Social Administration

The work of the Social Administration includes authority exercise and execution for target groups such as children and young people, individuals with substance abuse issues, individuals with mental health problems, individuals in need of financial support, and support due to violence in close relationships. The administration is divided into the adult department, the youth department, the support and work department, and the administration department. We have a process-oriented working method where collaboration, development, and continuous improvements lead us forward.

We are now looking for summer and on-call substitutes for the housing unit

The unit consists of a supported housing for socially vulnerable individuals with, for example, substance abuse issues, as well as a group home and a supported housing for individuals with comorbidity. As a substitute, you will have the opportunity to work in all of them.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a substitute with us, you will work together with your colleagues in the direct work with the residents and you will be responsible for supporting the residents and together creating a meaningful everyday life. You will work based on the assignment we are mandated to work on and follow up on the interventions together with the resident.

The goal is the resident's well-being, integrity, and self-determination. The work includes having support conversations, documentation, assisting in daily tasks, and being present in the residents' everyday lives. We are also responsible for having outreach interventions. The role also includes medication management after approved delegation.

You and your colleagues work together to create an everyday life for the residents where influence and participation are central to the everyday work. Strengthening the individual's own resources and opportunities for change are other key words that permeate our work. In your role, you should take initiative and start activities to achieve results.

As a substitute, you will work in our two units, where you will have the opportunity to contribute to our common goal of a meaningful and supportive working method for the residents. The operations are staffed around the clock.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with previous experience in social work with adults, substance abuse, and mental health issues. A B driver's license is required for the position.

You adapt your behavior to the situation and need to be calm, attentive, and accommodating in your approach. You have an interest, willingness, and ability to help others and strive to deliver solutions.

Furthermore, we see that you have a good ability to document and express yourself in speech and writing, as well as good computer skills. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
