Summer Temporary Position as a Personal Assistant in Uddevalla

The position involves day shifts (including four hours of sleeping duty), and there are good opportunities to work more during the summer.

About me: I am a 43-year-old man who is wheelchair-bound after a diving accident in 2004. I live in an apartment in central Uddevalla and am now looking for an assistant who wants to help me in my daily life. I am a positive and social person who enjoys going to the movies, concerts, watching sports, and enjoying good food.

What you will do: As my personal assistant, you will be an important support for me in everything from household chores to personal hygiene, transfers, and training. I need someone who is:

• Organized: You help keep things tidy at home.
• Reliable and stable: You assist with personal hygiene and transfers.
• Physical and active: You should be able to assist with training and transfers without any issues.
• Proactive and flexible: Your role involves being a support in my daily life, sometimes in new ways.
• Positive: An important part is to create a good atmosphere and be an active part of our team.
• Driver's license: You will be driving my car during work, so a driver's license is required.

Work environment and values: We work together in a team and ensure that we respect each other. I am your supervisor, and GIL is the formal employer. The position starts with shadowing during the spring, and you can then continue as a part-time employee after the summer if it feels good for both of us.
