Today, there is a lack of safe meeting places for LGBTQI individuals in the region, which is in demand by our members. We know that older LGBTQI individuals experience involuntary loneliness, and one in four LGBTQI youth refrain from participating in leisure activities.

RFSL Jämtland Härjedalen is running a project funded by the National Board of Health and Welfare to reduce involuntary loneliness in the region. To implement the project, we are hiring a person as an activity coordinator who can work on creating meeting places throughout the region.

RFSL Jämtland Härjedalen is an association for homosexuals, bisexuals, transgender individuals, queer, and intersex individuals in Jämtland and Härjedalen. The association's work includes social activities, information activities in schools, sexual health initiatives, and political advocacy. Currently, we have 4 employees. RFSL is an anti-racist and feminist organization.

The position is 75% and located in our office in central Östersund. Travel within the region is required. There is an opportunity for remote work.
