Are you passionate about helping young people find their way in life? Fyrens HVB is now looking for dedicated substitutes for our residence in Backe for boys aged 13-17. We are looking for someone who can start immediately, as well as those who can work during the summer. There is a possibility for continued work thereafter.

Our youth may have neuropsychiatric diagnoses, social or relational challenges, as well as experiences of early criminality and substance abuse. With us, they receive a safe and stable everyday life where they can develop and find their strengths.

Our goal is to create a safe environment where every young person feels seen, heard, and supported in their development. Fyrens HVB has space for seven young people placed according to the Social Services Act (SoL) or the Care of Young Persons Act (LVU).

About Fyrens HVB

Fyrens HVB is characterized by a family-like atmosphere and a professional approach. We are a small, homely residence where each young person receives individualized support from our dedicated and competent staff. Our operations are based on environmental therapeutic methods where we work with clear routines, structure, and a strong youth perspective.

The team includes a manager with overall responsibility and a site manager who leads the daily work. Collaboration with social services and other authorities is a natural part of the work.

Job Responsibilities

As a treatment assistant with us, you have a central role in the young people's daily lives. You support, guide, and motivate them in their development and help them create sustainable routines and strategies for the future. Your responsibilities include, among other things:

· Daily support: create structure, maintain routines, and ensure a functioning daily rhythm.

· Motivational conversations and relationship-building work.

· Physical and social activities to enhance the well-being of the youth.

· Support with cooking and other daily tasks.

· Documentation and follow-up according to applicable guidelines.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who wants to be a positive role model for the youth. We prefer that you have an education as a nursing assistant, treatment assistant, or another relevant background. Experience working with youth and/or care services is an advantage, but we value your personal suitability above all.

To thrive in the role, we believe you:

· Are secure, attentive, and have an easy time building trust.

· Have the ability to set boundaries while also showing warmth and care.

· Are structured and can take initiative to create meaningful activities.

· Have good communication skills and master Swedish in speech and writing.

· Are computer literate and can work according to documentation requirements.
