Lunnaskolan

Lunnaskolan is a F-3 school in Landvetter with after-school care and adapted primary school with great opportunities, located close to the center and public transport. Currently, around 400 students attend grades F-3, supported by approximately 70 staff led by three principals, two for the primary school and one responsible for the adapted primary school in the municipality. The adapted primary school operates as a separate unit and is present in four different schools; two in Mölnlycke and two in Landvetter.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We offer a permanent position as a special teacher responsible for teaching in one of our three classes. You will meet students who study both subjects and subject areas according to the adapted primary school's curriculum.

The classes consist of 5-7 students who also typically have after-school activities before and after the school day. The team around the class also includes preschool teachers, teachers in after-school care, leisure leaders, and student assistants based on the students' needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is educated and licensed as a special teacher (IF) or a teacher with experience working in lower grades and has an interest in working in an adapted primary school. You have a positive view of students and knowledge with a focus on interaction, are collaborative, proactive, and can contribute to a positive work environment.

You are familiar with the governing documents of the operations, have a relationship-building low-arousal approach, and want to contribute to the evaluation and development of the operations based on the students' needs. You provide a clear structure and use alternative communication with visual support and sign language in everyday life.

You are also curious, open, and evaluative about how the school can use new technology in various ways to stimulate and develop learning for your students.

The position is permanent, 100% in the adapted primary school. We will begin the recruitment process as applications come in. To obtain employment, a police record extract must be presented.
