Your responsibilities

As a Field Salesperson in the industrial sector, you are expected to spend most of your working time in the field with your customers, where you independently plan your days. Responsibilities include:

  • Driving sales by identifying and developing profitable customer relationships and planning and conducting customer meetings professionally.
  • Analyzing and prioritizing customers based on potential and profitability to maximize business opportunities.
  • Working systematically with quotes, follow-ups, and sales tools to achieve set goals.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and specialists within Ahlsell to create a comprehensive solution for our customers.
  • Taking responsibility for your own professional development by participating in training and staying updated on market trends and Ahlsell's product portfolio.

Worth knowing

You will be part of Region West, which stretches from Varberg to Mariestad and operates in the industrial sector. More specifically, this means you will work with customers who install, service, and maintain in the manufacturing and process industries. You will be part of a team of 9 field salespeople and 7 inside salespeople with a dedicated manager. Since you will conduct many customer visits each week, you have the freedom to plan your workdays to optimize travel time and business benefit. Your workplace is therefore flexible, and you can work from our sales office in Mölndal, from home, or from one of our Ahlsell stores in the region.

Our expectations

We are looking for a self-driven and engaged salesperson who enjoys building long-term customer relationships and driving business forward. To succeed in the role, it is important that you have a strong drive and commitment. This means you take your own initiatives, plan your time efficiently, and work purposefully to create business opportunities. Since a large part of the role involves establishing and developing customer relationships, you need to be proactive and have an easy time building trust. To manage your work effectively, it is important that you are structured and systematic. Furthermore, you are good at collaborating and thrive in a close-knit group where we support each other and have fun together.

In terms of knowledge, we see that you have experience in B2B sales and are used to conducting business dialogues. It is a plus if you have knowledge of the market, for example, in electricity or tools. Digital maturity is also key - you should feel comfortable with the Office suite, Teams, and digital meetings. A driver's license and good English are also prerequisites for the position.
