Procurement Officer at Partille Municipality

The Procurement and Purchasing Unit, which is part of the Municipal Executive Office, is centrally located and serves as the municipality's specialists in procurement and purchasing.

The unit consists of procurement coordinators, procurement controllers, buyers, and a purchasing manager and is a part of the municipality's finance department. The unit is currently in a very interesting expansion phase and has great ambitions for the municipality's development of procurement and purchasing. The goal is to become a modern procurement and purchasing unit that actively participates in the municipality's development.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a buyer who wants to help develop the municipality's procurement and purchasing activities. Your main task is to be responsible for planning, driving, and executing procurements for the municipality's operations. The procurements vary in nature and cover all areas of the municipality's operations.

You will also support the municipality's administrations in contract and procurement issues. Together with the unit's procurement controller, you will also follow up on procured agreements.

Your role also includes participating in improvement work within the function, monitoring developments in procurement and purchasing-related issues, and actively contributing to achieving the organization's goals. We are looking for someone who is driven by effective procurement work to achieve the municipality's goals towards an economically, environmentally, and socially sustainable society for you and future generations.

The position involves many internal contacts within the organization as well as external contacts with suppliers and partners, which means that you need to have a strong service orientation and good collaboration skills with a pragmatic approach.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a higher education in economics, law, engineering, or another relevant field that the employer deems equivalent.

Furthermore, you have good analytical skills, are trustworthy, and unpretentious. You are confident in your professional role and possess good communication skills in both spoken and written form. In this position, experience in public procurement and conducting both framework agreements and project procurements is considered an advantage.
