Aluwave has been owned by Tången Industrikapital since 2023 and is on a growth journey. They are facing several commercial initiatives that will take the company and the group to the next phase. Parts of Aluwave's senior commercial organization will move on, thus offering you mentorship and handover during 2025.
About the position of Key Account Manager Professional Luminaires
As a Key Account Manager at Aluwave, you will enter an exciting and expansive phase, and your primary task is to continue building relationships with the wholesale sector, which is the company's main channel. You will work both to develop existing relationships and to approach new customers. As a KAM, you work closely with the customer and help them navigate lighting technology, light planning, and fixtures in their stores as well as projects. The aim is to make Aluwave the obvious supplier and increase the customer's brand awareness. You will work with both standardized products and analyze needs to support the development of new products for their range.
In-house, you will have the support of Aluwave's own Electronics Engineers, who are engaged as product owners for specific projects. Furthermore, you will also be responsible for pricing, negotiations, and dialogue with purchasing/management at the customer. You will work with great freedom under responsibility and can either work from Aluwave's office or your home office, where you independently plan your work weeks and customer visits. The physical meeting is important in the role, where travel both in Sweden and the rest of the Nordic countries is estimated to be up to four travel days a week.
Your main responsibilities:
• Responsible for developing existing resellers and approaching new relationships.
• Work closely with the customer within the framework of fixtures, lighting technology, and light planning to strengthen and build the customer's brand.
• Sales of both standardized products and the development of new items.
About you
We are looking for someone with at least a couple of years of experience in technical sales of lighting products or fixtures, preferably within or towards the wholesale sector. You have a good technical understanding and an interest in light, lighting, and preferably also electronics or technology. Experience in fixture development and design in collaboration with customers and partners is an advantage. To succeed in this role, you need to have a B driver's license, the ability to travel within the Nordic countries, and be fluent in Swedish or Norwegian and English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of relevant requirements and regulations within electronics and fixtures in the Nordic market is a plus.

Important for the position is:
• At least a couple of years of experience in technical sales of lighting products/fixtures.
• A good technical understanding and an interest in light and lighting, as well as preferably electronics/technology.
• Experience working with fixture development/design together with partners and/or end customers.
• Ability to travel and stay overnight to visit customers within the Nordic countries.
• B driver's license and fluent language skills in Swedish or Norwegian and English.
Meritorious:
• Knowledge of relevant requirements and regulations regarding electronics/fixtures in the Nordic market (Building Product Assessment, ENEC, etc.).
• Experience in sales within or towards the wholesale sector.
• Experience and understanding of light planning.
