OFELAŠ Icelandic Horses is a company that works with tourism and riding school. During the summer, we focus mainly on tourist activities with horses, offering both longer and shorter tours in the mountain areas east of Kebnekaise. We provide full board for our guests during our multi-day tours and have our farm in Puoltsa, located west of Kiruna. In the summer, we conduct day tours in Nikkaluokta and also have accommodation on the southern side of the Kalix River in roadless areas where we carry out longer riding tours. The three cornerstones of our business are animals, nature, and culture.

Job Description:

The work consists of working in a tourism company primarily as a riding guide for Icelandic horses in the mountains, on day and multi-day tours. Tasks include working with guests, horses, preparing for tours, and farm work.

Qualifications:

You should be social, flexible, responsible, take initiative, have an interest in people, possess excellent horse and riding knowledge, and be willing to learn new things and do different tasks. You need to have experience as a riding guide or experience working with horses and people together. A background in tourism/horse education and experience with Icelandic horses is preferred. You should be accustomed to being in nature/mountains. Knowledge of Sámi culture, a BE driver's license, and administrative skills are advantageous.

A driver's license and good knowledge of Swedish and English are required.

Accommodation can be arranged. Salary according to agreement.

Duration: June-September 2025 with the possibility of extension.
