We are looking for a teacher with good hospitality, who is passionate about practical education and wants to help develop the star in every individual. Astar is now seeking teachers who can teach the Construction Program for inmates at the correctional facility, both as substitutes or a permanent position of 50-100% as agreed.

Education and Experience

We are looking for teachers/trainers who have at least 2 years of experience in the Carpentry profession; it is advantageous if you have worked in a correctional facility or have previously trained adults.

As a teacher/trainer, you will receive an introduction to teaching, but we are also looking for someone who is used to taking their own initiatives and enjoys developing their work. You thrive on sharing your knowledge in a pedagogical way and truly believe in giving people a second chance.

A requirement for the position is to be able to present a criminal record check and be approved by the security department of the correctional services.
