Yrkesgymnasiet Skellefteå is primarily seeking a licensed vocational teacher for the Electrical and Energy Program; however, those with at least five years of industry experience are also welcome to apply.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to share your knowledge with the electricians of the future. More than half of the students' educational time takes place in a workplace, providing them with a solid foundation and an advantage in the labor market. We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed teacher with the authority to teach vocational courses in the Electrical and Energy Program, or has at least five years of industry experience and a strong drive to teach and mentor students.
• Is an excellent communicator and team player who can act as a bridge between the school, students, and the business community.
• Has a valid driver's license and preferably access to a personal vehicle.
• Has the ability to work independently while also being team-oriented and collaborating with colleagues to best prepare students for their future careers.

Qualifications

A teaching degree or substantial experience in the industry and a desire to inspire and develop the next generation of electricians. A teaching license and pedagogical experience are desirable but not required.
