The Service Center handles fault reports, orders, and provides support and facilitates cases within IT, healthcare and administrative systems, property issues, telephony, cleaning, and transport. All employees and municipal staff also come to us to get their eService card issued. We are about 40 colleagues located at Örebro University Hospital.

The Service Center consists of the units First Line and eService Card, IT and telephony support, and System Support. As an employee in IT and telephony support, you will primarily work with a focus on IT and play an important role in interacting with our customers both via phone and when customers visit the Service Center. A common feature for us is our very high service spirit. A good reception and broad knowledge of Region Örebro County as a whole characterize our cheerful team.

Within the Shared Service Center, there are the departments Service Center, Telephone Exchange, HR Administration, Finance Department, and Payroll and Pension Administration.

IT Technician for Regionservice Service Center

Job Responsibilities

The IT and telephony support is a second-line function within the Service Center. We handle fault reports, orders, and inquiries from all operations within Region Örebro County.

The work is primarily conducted via phone but also includes receiving visitors to the Service Center.

The First Line takes the calls initially and resolves simpler issues. Other cases are forwarded to us in the second line. If necessary, we then escalate cases to Regionservice's third-line support.

You will work according to a schedule and alternate between receiving calls and managing cases in our case management system. We follow procedures and processes based on ITIL, which contributes to structured and qualitative support.

Qualifications

  • High school education with an IT focus, or other education that we assess as equivalent
  • Experience working in an IT-related support function
  • Good knowledge of Windows 10/11, networks, telephony, mobile devices, and peripherals such as printers in a corporate environment
  • Experience in user administration in Active Directory and Microsoft 365

You enjoy customer contacts, are service-oriented, and have a professional demeanor. You are social, communicative, and have an easy time collaborating. You express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish.
