Bergsviksskolan and Jävre School

Bergsviksskolan and Jävre School are part of the same principal area. Together, the area has about 300 students and 40 staff members. The development areas in the schools have focused on promoting and preventive work over the past three years. This school year, we are focusing on creating a safe and trusting working environment for all students, where everyone has maximum opportunities to learn and develop. The guiding principle in our work is student participation.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a leisure educator or another educator with appropriate qualifications to be placed at Bergsviksskolan. Bergsviksskolan has two leisure departments with students from preschool to grade 4. As an educator, you have a good ability to develop and plan the teaching in the leisure home in collaboration with your colleagues. You consider the whole child's development and adapt to each individual's needs.

Qualifications

You are a licensed leisure educator/teacher or have another relevant academic qualification. We are looking for someone who has good pedagogical insights and is well acquainted with the school's and leisure home's governing documents and systematic quality work. You are clear and have good collaboration skills with a willingness to share knowledge and experiences. You are responsible, secure, have personal maturity, and can create good relationships with the students.

As a person, it is important that you:

• have the ability to create and maintain good relationships with people in various contexts and functions.
• can plan and organize your work independently, with colleagues, and in collaboration with the principal.
• can set goals, work systematically, follow up, and complete activities.
• have the drive to develop teaching and the learning environment to optimize students' conditions for learning.
• are action-oriented and ensure that tasks are completed.

Employment Details

Permanent employment 100%, vacation employment. Start date August 2025. The last application date is April 15, 2025.
