About us

Welcome to Närhälsan Töreboda health center.

We have about 35 employees in various professions and approximately 7500 registered patients. We are a team that values collaboration and team spirit, and for us, the work environment is as important as the demands and quality results.

The health center has both acute and planned operations, including general practitioner services, district nurse services, child health care, and laboratory services. We have close cooperation with midwifery services, youth clinics, rehabilitation services, public dental care, and social services. There is also close collaboration with regional healthcare and Töreboda municipality.

We are a rural health center located centrally in Töreboda, easily accessible from places like Skövde or Mariestad by train or bus.

About the job

Your tasks at the health center span a wide field and cover the general medical area where you meet patients of all ages and situations. You work health-promoting, advisory, and treatment-focused in primary care, both via phone, home visits, digital healthcare meetings, and at the clinic.

The work involves both acute and planned activities. You work largely independently with your own clinic where you triage, treat, and follow up with patients. Close collaboration occurs with your colleagues in the unit and cross-professionally in the team, but also together with other actors such as home healthcare and other specialized care. Together with the health center management, you are responsible for developing and driving the operations forward. Educating future colleagues is an important and rewarding part of our mission, therefore supervision of students is also included as part of your role at the health center.

About you

You are a licensed nurse, preferably with specialist training as a district nurse. It is an advantage if you have experience from working in primary care and/or have supervisor training of 7.5 credits, but we also welcome you as a recent graduate.

We are looking for someone who takes initiative in their work and is confident in making their own decisions. You are meticulous, have good problem-solving skills, and can effectively prioritize among your tasks.

In your work, you meet many patients, so it is important that you are accommodating, attentive, and have a desire to help others. We also believe that you thrive in teamwork and for you, it is natural to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts. You can express yourself well in both speech and writing and are an engaged and good listener in both digital meetings and visits to the clinic. We also hope that you have an interest in digitalization and operational development. We also see that you embody Närhälsan's core values: Reliable, Caring, and Innovative.

The position is a parental leave cover for one year, with a chance of extension.

Interviews at the health center will be held in week 16.

About the recruitment process

Selection is done in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who call candidates for a phone interview. Thereafter, the recruiting manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them for an interview at the health center.

We use competency-based interviews, which means that answers to the questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalizing answers – this is so we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the outcome was.
