Borgstenaskolan is the northernmost school in Borås City and one of the smallest. The school is located in a beautiful rural setting with a large forest nearby where children can play during breaks and which is also used for outdoor classrooms.

At Borgstenaskolan, about 60 students attend from preschool class to grade 6. All staff collaborate throughout the day for the best interest of each student and the opportunity to succeed as the primary goal.

Job Responsibilities

As a teacher in the preschool class, you will be responsible for the teaching in our preschool class. You will have a very close collaboration with grade 1 and the after-school program. The activities in the preschool class are based on current curricula and governing documents with a strong focus on sparking curiosity for learning and the students' social development.  

You will collaborate both within and outside your own profession, in the work team and with colleagues in other functions at the school. You will help develop the school's activities with a focus on preschool class operations. In addition to time in the preschool class, work hours will occur in the after-school program.

Qualifications

We are looking for a certified teacher or preschool teacher with the qualifications to teach in preschool class. You work goal-oriented and have good collaboration skills, take responsibility, are flexible, and proactive. You are good at communicating and build good relationships with both students, parents, and colleagues.
