DC Talents is now assisting our client, who is in a growth phase, in finding an engaged Preparer/Estimator to strengthen the team in Finspång. This is a direct recruitment where DC Talents is responsible for the recruitment process, and employment will be directly with the client.

ABOUT THE ROLE

In this role, you will receive a solid introduction and gradually take on more responsibility in the estimating and preparation process. You will be an important link between sales, production, and the customer, ensuring that the right material choices, time estimates, and cost calculations are the foundation of the work.

Main Responsibilities:

• Handle inquiries and analyze the customer's needs and specifications.
• Build estimates to calculate time and material requirements for bids.
• Submit bids and communicate with customers to ensure competitive solutions.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure material and cost efficiency.
• Follow up on projects and ensure that quality, delivery times, and customer satisfaction are maintained.
• Work closely with production to ensure that the work is carried out according to plan.

You will play a central role in driving the work forward and ensuring that the company's products meet high quality standards and customer expectations.

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for someone who either already works as a preparer/estimator or has at least 5 years of welding experience and now wants to take the next step in their career. With your previous experiences, you will grow into the role and eventually take on a more project management function. We prefer that you have previous experience in reading and interpreting drawings and a good understanding of technical solutions. You also have basic knowledge of Word and Excel and have previously worked in a workshop environment, preferably with elements of maintenance stops and assembly at the customer.
