The Role of Maintenance Mechanic

In the important role of Maintenance Mechanic, you will primarily work to ensure the operational reliability of production equipment by performing both preventive and corrective maintenance through repairs and troubleshooting of existing production equipment. Your tasks will also include analysis work regarding technical disturbances and participation in continuous improvement efforts where installations and modifications are included to maintain and improve the status of the facility. You will also instruct/train staff in these areas. By participating in process teams, you will also support other production units within our press hall.

Who Are We Looking For?

As a person, we believe you are communicative, have good collaboration skills, and are service-oriented with a strong customer focus. You work in a structured and solution-oriented manner and are open to changes. Furthermore, you have good problem-solving skills, a strong drive, and can work independently in situations where it is required.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Knowledge and experience in mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and lubrication technology.
• Education equivalent to at least a 3-year vocational program in industry or equivalent post-secondary education.
• Knowledge of reading technical drawings for troubleshooting mechanical components.
• Good computer skills (Office 365).
• Good understanding of English, both spoken and written.
• It is an advantage if you can speak and write German.

Working hours: Full-time according to applicable shift schedule, daytime
