Operations Technician at Vakin

As an operations technician, you will have variety in your work and be a contributing factor in securing the process of diverting and purifying wastewater throughout the municipality.

Responsibilities

We are now looking for a committed and responsible employee to monitor and control processes in our treatment plants and pumping stations. The role includes regular supervision of the facilities, where you will ensure that everything is functioning properly through rounds and troubleshooting. You will also perform preventive maintenance and work closely on maintenance efforts to maintain high operational reliability. During maintenance actions, you will be responsible for safely shutting down and bringing the facilities back into operation. The position includes both solo work and teamwork. In addition, standby duty will be required.

Qualifications

You have at least a high school education in technology or maintenance, or equivalent experience. You have good knowledge of Swedish (at least SFI level D) and a B driver's license. We consider it an advantage if you have previously worked in water and wastewater or have experience in technical or maintenance systems.

As a person, you collaborate well with others and keep order and tidiness in your work. You take responsibility for your tasks and value a safe working environment for both yourself and your colleagues.

Other Information

The position is a permanent full-time position with a start date according to agreement. We may apply a probationary period.
