Kamet Röbäcks AB is looking for an experienced Assembly Leader/Industrial Mechanic

Röbäcks Sweden is becoming Kamet Röbäcks, and we are expanding!

We have recently merged with Finnish Steel Kamet and Norwegian Tensor to become the largest producer of equipment for the concrete industry in the Nordic region. Do you want to be part of the beginning of our journey and produce, assemble, and service customers across the Nordics? Do you have a knack for mechanics and are familiar with MIG welding? Your daily work will consist of everything from leading experienced assemblers in the field to assembling and commissioning entire factory facilities. Back in the workshop, reading blueprints, cutting, drilling, and welding will be part of your everyday tasks.

You will work both with manufacturing in the workshop and assembly as well as service at customer sites.

All our assembly and workshop staff work closely with our designers to ensure that our customers receive the solutions they desire.

Kamet-Röbäcks is a workshop with roots dating back to 1880. Today, our workshop spans 3000m2, much more than the small village blacksmith shop that started it all.

We are looking for someone who has experience taking responsibility and enjoys not doing the same thing every day.

We have virtually no mass production; instead, we tailor most of our work to our customers' situations and needs. If you see craftsmanship as an important part of your work and enjoy being out in the field to see what you have manufactured being commissioned, you are the right person for us.

You have:

- Experience in mechanical assembly in the field

- Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics

- Experience with MIG/MAG welding

- A valid driver's license (B)

- Good language skills in Swedish and English

Preferred qualifications:

- Previous experience in the manufacturing industry

- Experience in electrical or plumbing work

- Experience in sheet metal processing, such as bending and rolling

- Training for overhead crane, SSG, HMS (Norway)

The position is based at our facility in Stöcksjö, Umeå, with frequent travel primarily within the Nordics.
