Maintenance Technician at Bilfinger Sweden in Skellefteå

Maintenance is one of five business areas at Bilfinger Sweden, focusing on the maintenance of industrial facilities. Our maintenance technicians ensure that our customers' facilities operate as they should, avoiding unplanned factory shutdowns and performing service, repairs, and project work.

The Maintenance business area currently has over three hundred employees and operates from Helsingborg in the south to Skellefteå in the north.

We are looking for maintenance technicians

We are seeking maintenance technicians for our operations in Skellefteå, where you will report to the Group Manager Mek. Your main tasks will include preventive and corrective maintenance on machines such as pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, compressors, tanks, hydraulics, and other mechanical work. Participating in continuous improvement efforts is also an important task.

• Opportunity to act as a coordinator for both small and large shutdown jobs.
• Actively and professionally perform work according to our customers' wishes.
• Ensure that work is carried out in a quality manner regarding time, execution, and cost.
• Continuously maintain an ongoing dialogue with customers to ensure our performance meets their needs.

What you bring

• High school education or equivalent in mechanics or industry.
• Experience in/process industry, mining, paper mills, sawmills, etc. is an advantage.
• Driver's license (B) and forklift license are advantageous.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English.
