We are looking for an engaged, qualified teacher in the subjects of mathematics and physics.

At Paradisskolan, you will meet students from grades 7 to 9 as a teacher in mathematics and physics. The position includes mentorship alongside a colleague within the work team. We have a diversity among our students, which we see as enriching for all of us. The school has about 400 students from grades 4 to 9. Here, you will meet dedicated colleagues who offer varied teaching where students' interests, experiences, and knowledge are the starting point. You have close access to the student health team that works closely with the operations.

Paradisskolan also has an English Speaking Class (ESC), where we offer instruction through the English language in the subjects of Natural Sciences and Social Sciences. The school welcomes students from all over Trollhättan and large parts of the world. The school's development work focuses on the quality of teaching and a good learning environment. The school is centrally located in the western part of Trollhättan, in the Källstorp area.

Qualifications

You are a certified teacher with qualifications in mathematics and physics. You have good insight and knowledge of the school’s governing documents and have a good ability to implement them practically in daily work. You conduct modern and creative teaching and find strategies to reach each student and support them in both knowledge development and personal growth. We see that you have good pedagogical skills, are positive, outgoing, and have the ability to create security for the students. You should be able to build good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You have good ICT skills and a good ability to meet the variation you encounter in the classroom.

We expect you to want to co-create the best learning environment for our students and their learning together with others. We expect you to be passionate about developing your teaching with the students' best interests in mind. To succeed in this, we see it as an advantage if you participate in collegial, structured learning in collaboration with other teachers at the school.
