Kvarnbacken offers a unique opportunity to work with care and treatment in an integrated operation in a fantastic environment.

Kvarnbacken is located in Forshaga municipality, specifically at Mölnbacka Manor.

The treatment will cover areas that are assessed to hinder the client and contribute to as independent a life as possible. There will be access to, in addition to health care, school, internships, various psychoeducational interventions, and treatment programs.

We are convinced that our integrated operation increases the conditions for a cohesive care chain and qualified care and treatment.

Your workplace

Kvarnbacken's HVB, which is set to open in November 2025, is a collaboration between Värmland County's care association and Region Värmland (Adult Psychiatry). This means that all staff work integrated to ensure our clients receive the best possible care, support, and treatment.

HVB Kvarnbacken will accommodate up to 14 clients, adults from 20 years old with harmful use and dependence with comorbidities.

The staff group consists of doctors, nurses, psychologists, occupational therapists, treatment assistants, chefs, and supervisors.

Your responsibilities

As a psychologist, you will support management and the rest of the work group regarding planning and choice of methods and treatment in the psychological work. The work may involve therapies in certain cases, being responsible for completing and conducting assessments as deemed necessary, participating in care planning and other meetings regarding clients, and supervising other staff when the need arises. There is an opportunity to influence the content of the work.

Your knowledge and competencies

We are looking for a licensed psychologist trained in CBT, preferably with experience working with individuals with harmful use and dependence as well as comorbidities. Previous work in HVB and experience with neuropsychiatric assessments are also meritorious.

We see you as a person who works effectively with complex issues, analyzes problems, and finds solutions. You take responsibility for your tasks and drive processes forward. Additionally, you are socially active and create and maintain important contacts.

As travel may be included in the position, you need to have a B driver's license.
