Kvarnbacken offers a unique opportunity to work with care and treatment in an integrated operation in a fantastic environment.

Kvarnbacken is located in Forshaga municipality, specifically at Mölnbacka Manor.

The treatment will cover areas that are assessed to hinder the client and contribute to as independent a life as possible. There will be access to, in addition to health and medical care, school, internships, various psychoeducational interventions, and treatment programs.

We are convinced that our integrated operation increases the conditions for a cohesive care chain and qualified care and treatment.

Your workplace

Kvarnbacken's HVB, which is set to open in November 2025, is a collaboration between Värmland County's healthcare association and Region Värmland (Adult Psychiatry). This means that all staff work integrated to ensure our clients receive the best possible care, support, and treatment.

HVB Kvarnbacken will accommodate up to 14 clients, adults from 20 years old with harmful use and dependency with co-occurring disorders.

The staff group will consist of doctors, nurses, psychologists, occupational therapists, treatment assistants, chefs, and supervisors.

Your responsibilities

As a nurse, you will be employed by Region Värmland, as will other health and medical care personnel. You will be responsible for medication management, training and delegation to other care staff, assisting doctors during rounds, health conversations with subsequent planning and follow-up, other treatments, and assessments deemed necessary. You will also attend care planning and other client-related meetings. You are part of the daily treatment work.

Your skills and competencies

We are looking for a licensed psychiatric nurse, preferably with experience in co-occurring disorders, harmful use, and dependency. Experience from working in treatment centers and training in CBT is an advantage.

You are a person with good collaboration skills, clear and meticulous in your work and communication. You also have the ability to work independently and take responsibility for your tasks. We are keen to find the right person for the position and will therefore place great emphasis on personal suitability.

As travel may be included in the position, you need to have a B driver's license.
