Sunderby Folk High School conducts education and popular education and is the third largest folk high school in Sweden. Here, participants can study Basic General Course and General Course at high school level to qualify for higher studies. We also offer creative and cultural courses such as Art School and indie game development, as well as the opportunity to take special courses to deepen knowledge in a specific area. We also run various projects for people who are outside the labor market.

We are now looking for a curator who will work together with the principal, study directors, career counselors, educators, and participant support staff on health-promoting and preventive participant health work.

The position includes working with participants, focusing on strengthening health factors. We see the strength in good relationships, and you will be an important part of value-creating meetings with participants, career counselors, educators, and participant support staff, where you may need to be both supportive and guiding. We see that you have an interest in folk high school activities and that you are a natural part of our entire operation.

We are looking for someone with a bachelor's degree in social work, behavioral science, or similar. You have knowledge in:

• Swedish, fluent in speech and writing
• Basic IT skills
• Conversation methodology and communication
• Psychology and social work
• Neuropsychiatric disorders and other functional variations

For the position of curator, your personal qualities are very important. We see that you have the ability to collaborate and cooperate, that you recognize the value of your colleagues' knowledge and professions while independently finding ways to achieve results within your area of responsibility. You do this by working analytically, strategically, and systematically with improvements from a holistic perspective.

We also see that you have humility and understanding that people see things from different perspectives and can thus understand the underlying factors for people's actions. You play a central role in supporting participants in their personal and social development, contributing to a health-promoting and safe school environment. You have knowledge of community agencies and how we can help participants who need other support than what we can provide. It is beneficial if you have experience and knowledge of contacts with authorities and organizations relevant to the work.

The position of curator with us is complex, requiring you to work flexibly as you have the responsibility to coordinate efforts to strengthen participants' well-being and health, with tasks related to that. This part of the job involves a lot of coordination and support for other staff working closely with our participants.
