Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each customer is unique, and your tasks vary based on the customer's needs. You respect the customer's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, committed, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following:

• wants to work with a woman in her 80s living in Råneå
• has good knowledge of Swedish
• has a driver's license and access to a personal car (limited public transport to the customer)

It is also an advantage if you:

• have experience in similar work

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

2 summer vacancies at employment rates of approximately 80% and 50%. The duration of the vacancies is weeks 26-29 and 26-31. The working shifts vary between day and evening both weekdays and weekends on a rolling schedule. Shifts are varied between 07:30-11:00, 07:30-15:00, and 15:00-21:30.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation is in accordance with collective agreements.

Start date: According to agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years of age. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
