About the role and your tasks

Your work is guided by the needs of individuals. A workday may consist of providing support and assistance with personal care, care work, medical interventions delegated by a nurse, and other assistance that the person you support needs. Documentation is done in Lifecare. Your role also includes contributing to the development of the organization and maintaining good quality. With us, you have the opportunity to grow and be stimulated, for example, through different roles, areas of responsibility, or training. With us, you have the opportunity to work in different roles; permanent care contact, runner, or resource. We are now looking for you who want to work as a permanent care contact. You are responsible for ensuring that implementation plans are established and followed up for your users. The staff group is divided into smaller divisions, with 2-3 permanent care contacts together with a runner, responsible for the work with the division's users. You may also visit other users.

Working hours are from 7 when you work days. You will work every other weekend. We offer everyone to work full-time, which means 36 hours and 20 minutes a week. We are also looking for staff for the evening. You work until 11 PM and every other weekend.

We are looking for you who

• are a trained care assistant.
• experience in care work is an advantage.
• To work in home care, cycling experience is required.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language is required in both speech and writing.
• You also need to have good digital skills, for example, in connection with documentation.

You are responsible, committed, flexible, and attentive - with users, relatives, and colleagues. You understand how important it is for each individual to be involved and have influence over their daily life.

To be employed as a care assistant, you must have proof of a protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate from an employer stating that you had a permanent position as a care assistant on July 1, 2023.

About the workplace

Lund Municipality's home care is divided into several geographical areas. In each area, care assistants and nursing assistants work in teams with health and medical staff under the leadership of a unit manager. Each area has a unit administrator and coordinator. We offer service, care, and home healthcare services around the clock to the municipality's users. Some service tasks (cleaning, laundry, and shopping) are performed during the day from Monday to Friday by a service group within each home care area. Väster team two shares its premises with Väster team one on Starvägen. We are within walking distance from Lund C. Here, care staff, administration, and licensed personnel gather under the same roof. The unit works in teams; nursing and HSL staff around our users, for example, with the help of quality registers SeniorAlert, BPSD, and the Palliative register. Work is ongoing around everyday rehabilitation. We actively work with our work environment, for example, with health inspirers who work with recovery, micro-breaks, and much more. We offer our users "Stimulation in everyday life" through a meeting every week.

The goal of home care is to perform assignments with high quality based on individual needs and wishes, as well as to provide the opportunity to stay in their own home.
