The Women's Health department has about 950 employees and consists of both gynecological and obstetric services in Malmö and Lund. As a university hospital, we have assignments in development and education, and successful research is conducted within the department.

The Women's Health services in Malmö and Lund are part of the Gynecology area and are organizationally connected to the gynecological clinic in Malmö. Within Women's Health, there are services such as abortion care, day care, sexology clinic, VS clinic, and specialist prevention. The sexology clinic and Women's Health are currently in an expansive phase. Over the past year, we have contributed to the development of a national care program for endometriosis, created a knowledge support with national guidelines for vulvodynia, and are conducting national vulva training.

JOB DESCRIPTION

With us, you will have an independent, responsible, and varied job. Your main tasks include sexological treatment work. You will be part of the vulva, endometriosis, and differences in sex development (DSD) teams.

Additionally, you will meet patients who, for example, after childbirth or other gynecological procedures, are in need of sexological treatment work. Following the patient through the process is an important part of your work, as well as giving lectures in sexology. Providing good and effective care for our patients is a natural part of your daily routine.

You will work closely with other employees in the area, and together we work towards the unit's and the department's common goals. We encourage you to inspire and participate in the development work of Women's Health and value good teamwork where the patient is always at the center.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed midwife with the authority to work within Swedish healthcare. Additionally, you have a master's degree in sexology. Language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are required. It is an advantage if you have therapy training and/or training in motivational interviewing.

In addition to a genuine interest in women's health, sexological competence, and attention to detail, we place great importance on engagement, collaboration, and a good attitude. You are confident in your professional role, flexible, and have good communication skills. You thrive in a small team while being able to work across boundaries and maintain a professional attitude towards your colleagues and patients.
