We are looking for nursing assistants for several different operations within the Health, Care, and Social Services Administration. This advertisement concerns all available positions as nursing assistants, both permanent positions and temporary positions exceeding 6 months. Job Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant, you will help and support clients with care interventions tailored to their individual needs. The work may include:

• Personal care (assistance with dressing, showering, toilet visits, etc.).
• Medical interventions delegated by licensed personnel.
• Cooking, cleaning, shopping, and laundry.
• Documentation.
• Contact with relatives and other professional groups within healthcare.

You will also motivate and stimulate clients to help them manage as much as possible on their own. The work involves close collaboration with home healthcare, rehabilitation, case managers, and other professionals within the administration.

Those who proceed to the next step in the process will conduct a digital interview via Hubert AI. In this step, you choose which operation within healthcare and social services you are interested in. Operations to choose from:

• Home Care: You assist clients in their homes with cooking, dressing, personal hygiene, and other care interventions. The work is done independently, and you travel by bike or car. Work shifts are offered during the day (07:00-15:30) and evening (15:00-23:00).
• Care and Nursing Home: You provide care and supervision in our facilities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and activities. Working hours are day and evening (06:45-16:00 or 12:00-22:00).

Please note that we currently have the greatest need within Home Care, for both day and evening shifts. As all our needs are matched against applicants from this advertisement, we handle applications continuously and recruit based on the current needs of the operations, which vary over time.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Proof of protected professional title (nursing assistant) from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate from an employer confirming that you had a permanent position as a nursing assistant on 1/7 2023.
• Experience in healthcare and social services is required for short-term care and day and night operations. In home care and care and nursing homes, experience working with individuals with dementia or person-centered care is an advantage.
• Good digital skills - Documentation of events concerning care recipients is an important part of the work, therefore it is essential that you have the ability to handle digital systems. Previous experience with LifeCare, Procapita, Flexite, and Senior Alert and/or BPSD is advantageous.
• Can bike/Have a driver's license - If you want to work in home care, you need to be able to bike and in some cases have a B driver's license.
• Communicative and have good collaboration skills - To maintain good contact with clients and their relatives, as well as good cooperation with colleagues, it is necessary that you work well with others. In this job, you will meet Malmö residents and colleagues from different cultures. Therefore, it is important that you value diversity and understand how background, culture, and group affiliation affect yourself and others. You can relate to others in a sensitive and smooth manner and have good communication skills.
• Flexible and solution-oriented - The work may involve rapid changes and requires the ability to focus on the right things, prioritize, re-prioritize, and handle changing conditions.
• Service-oriented - You are calm, attentive, and accommodating with an interest, willingness, and ability to help others and strive to deliver solutions.
• Swedish - Good language skills in both spoken and written Swedish are necessary to communicate with colleagues, clients, and relatives; multilingualism is an advantage.
