We are now looking for a psychologist for the outpatient clinic in Skövde.

As a specialist psychiatric clinic, the treatments we offer should be at the forefront of development, and as a psychologist, we hope you are interested in helping us develop these.

As a psychologist with us, you have the opportunity to work with several different focuses. You can choose to work with treatment, primarily CBT and trauma treatment, or focus on neuropsychiatric assessment work. We also work with psychoeducational interventions, both individually and in groups for patients and guardians. Within child and adolescent psychiatry, you will meet children and adolescents aged 0-18 years and their families. The work also includes collaborating with other parties outside the clinic, where you contribute your expertise.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed psychologist. Training in cognitive behavioral therapy is a requirement; Tf-CBT or another trauma method is an advantage. We prefer that you have previous clinical experience working with children and adolescents and that you are curious to learn new things.

Since the work involves collaborating with parents, various professional groups, and other healthcare providers, good collaboration skills are required. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

As the work sometimes takes place outside the clinic, a B driver's license is desirable.

The Operation

The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in Skaraborg is responsible for specialized child and adolescent psychiatry for approximately 56,000 children and adolescents. Our operation consists of two larger outpatient clinics; BUP Skövde and BUP Mariestad. The operation also includes units that cover the entire Skaraborg area, BUP acute responsibility, and intermediate care.

Our employees consist of nurses, psychiatric nurses, nursing assistants, child psychiatrists, ST doctors, psychologists, social workers, psychotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, dietitians, and medical secretaries/administrative staff.
