About the assignment

This is a consulting assignment via KIMM/Wise Professionals with our client in municipal operations in northeastern Stockholm. The assignment is full-time from April to August with the possibility of extension or employment.

The assignment involves work with communication both strategically and operationally, as well as project management and the development of communication plans. You are a good writer with a strong ability to explain complex contexts and are accustomed to writing, adapting, and publishing content for websites and social media.

Responsibilities

• Act as an advisor regarding channel selection, packaging, and communication for various operations within the city.
• Develop materials and content where you tailor, produce, publish, and follow up on the content. This includes text, images, and video. It may also involve writing news articles for our household magazine and newsletters.
• Project manage and drive communication assignments, independently and in collaboration with colleagues within the communication unit and clients within the administrations.
• Monitor the external environment. You manage and monitor the city’s channels and act proactively. You stay updated on trends in communication and new channels and are not afraid to try new things.

About you

To be successful in this role, we believe you are a self-sufficient communicator who easily captures information and translates it into engaging communication.

We would like you to have/be:

• At least 5 years of experience working with communication both strategically and operationally
• Experience in developing communication plans
• Experienced project manager
• Good writer with a strong ability to explain complex contexts
• Accustomed to writing, adapting, and publishing content for websites and social media
• Relevant education in communication or marketing
