The Building and Environmental Administration is responsible for regulatory activities within the building and environmental area. The administration consists of a staff group of about 30 people divided into a building unit and an environmental unit. The administration works with private individuals, companies, authorities, and other parts of the municipality's operations. As an employee in the building unit, you contribute to creating a good and sustainable future in Partille.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Partille is currently in an expansive period on its journey from suburb to suburb, which is why we can offer you exciting, challenging, and complex tasks. Your main responsibilities as a supervisory lawyer or supervisory officer (the title is set based on educational background) will be handling cases of illegal construction, as well as other supervision within the framework of the building committee's supervisory responsibility. You will provide advice and assist with service to colleagues, the public, and professional builders in the form of advice and information. During periods, other tasks may occur within the framework of the building and environmental committee's area of work.

In this role, you will be part of the building unit's work team and participate in joint working groups and meetings relevant to your assignment. The handling includes investigation, communication, and decision-making. Preparing and presenting cases for the building and environmental committee is part of the daily work. You will also be involved in drafting statements for the court. The work is conducted independently and with great personal responsibility while the consensus of the workgroup is paramount. Working hours are scheduled during daytime, Monday to Friday, according to a fixed schedule with the possibility of flexibility.

QUALIFICATIONS

For this role, we are looking for someone with at least a 4-year law degree or at least two years of full-time work experience in supervision according to PBL combined with at least a 3-year engineering degree in construction; the work experience must have occurred within the last 5 years. Perhaps you are a newly graduated lawyer or expect to graduate soon.

Since you will be working closely with your colleagues and also have a lot of contact with the public and business operators, we will place great emphasis on your personal qualities. You should have a good and well-developed ability to collaborate, working together with colleagues and partners in a responsive and smooth manner, while being clear. You have excellent communication skills and are good at expressing yourself both verbally and in writing. The position requires you to be quality-conscious and meticulous in your work approach, as well as being a secure person, both personally and in your professional practice. For you, it is important to focus on the customer and to conduct regulatory activities both efficiently and carefully. You are good at planning, organizing, and structuring your work in an effective manner for the situation.

You need to have a B driver's license. A car pool is available in the municipality.
