Job Advertisement: Café and Restaurant Staff

We are looking for you who are proactive and service-oriented and want to work in café, restaurant, and kitchen at our departments at SSP Luleå Airport. Our various departments include Cornelius Coffee, Craft n’ Draft, Kiosk, Catering, and Production. We are looking for someone who wants to work extra as needed.

The tasks are common tasks within the restaurant and café, such as customer service, sales, service, dishwashing, cleaning, restocking, and simpler production of sandwiches, salads, pastries, and hot meals.

Your Profile

As a person, you are cheerful, meticulous, have a great sense of humor, and a sales-oriented approach. You can work both independently and in a team. You enjoy working with people and thrive in a restaurant environment, providing service to both guests and colleagues. To succeed in this role, you are used to working at a varying pace and have a focus on service and sales. You are someone who takes initiative and personal responsibility for your tasks. You have good collaboration skills, and communicating with guests, colleagues, and managers is no problem for you. Furthermore, being organized is a given for you. The work is physically demanding, and you are not afraid to roll up your sleeves. We place great importance on your personal qualities, such as communication and the ability to take personal responsibility.

Requirements

• You speak and read good Swedish fluently
• You are at least 20 years old since we serve alcohol and you may be responsible for serving (according to the Alcohol Act 2010:1622 Chapter 8, Serving of alcoholic beverages and similar products 18 § Staff).
• In your application, you must state your citizenship and be able to present a passport that proves your citizenship. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must also be able to prove that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. Employment can only occur after verification of the work permit, which is required under the Aliens Ordinance.
• To work at the airport, a successful security check and background check are required, which means you can prove your employment for the last five years. This must be verified in the form of written certificates or grades, ensure that you can provide this and prepare the documentation as best you can for a potential interview.

Additional Info

It is an advantage if you have access to a car as it can sometimes be difficult to reach the workplace by public transport. Our opening hours follow the departure times at Luleå Airport, which means varying working hours with early mornings, evenings, and weekends (Opening hours approx. 05:00-22:30).
