Pajala Municipality is hiring staff for the central kitchen

Pajala Municipality is the large (in area) small municipality located in the land of the northern lights and midnight sun – Tornedalen, in eastern Norrbotten. The Nutrition and Hygiene Unit in Pajala Municipality is looking for a new employee for the Pajala central kitchen. The kitchen's mission is to produce and deliver good and nutritious meals to the municipality's core activities: preschool, school, and elderly care. The kitchen is located in central Pajala and prepares about 1000 portions of food daily by a team of 9 chefs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your tasks in the Pajala central kitchen include cooking, serving, special diets, cleaning, and other common tasks in a large kitchen.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a high school education in restaurant and catering, or other education or experience that the employer deems equivalent. We also prefer that you have work experience in large kitchens as well as knowledge of special and adapted diets. Computer skills are required as we work in a meal data system daily. We place great value on personal qualities such as good customer service, teamwork, guest focus, and a strong sense of service.
