Job Advertisement: Nurse in Gynecology

NU-sjukvården is part of the Västra Götaland region and is one of Sweden's larger county hospitals. We are located at NÄL (Norra Älvsborg County Hospital) in Trollhättan and Uddevalla hospital. The hospital's catchment area includes 280,000 inhabitants. Together, we are about 5,000 employees who work every day to provide good and safe specialist healthcare. We are located on the west coast, and our area offers varied nature with both sea, mountains, forests, and lakes.

Description

The hospitals in Bäckefors, Lysekil, and Strömstad have been part of NU-sjukvården since November 1, 2022.

The local hospitals provide specialized care in the following medical specialties:

• Pediatrics
• Dietitian
• Gynecology
• Dermatology including light therapy
• Cardiology
• ENT, including speech therapy
• Ophthalmology – children and adults

You will join a hospital with well-established colleagues and a good work community.

There are colleagues within the same specialty at the hospitals in Lysekil and Strömstad.

Job Responsibilities

As a nurse, you will work in the gynecology specialist clinic within outpatient care and also be part of the team for other clinics. You will work with both your own patients and assist in physician consultations, be responsible for planning the clinic, providing telephone advice, and working with 1177.

Qualifications

We are looking for a registered nurse/district nurse, preferably with experience in outpatient work. Further education in gynecology is an advantage.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities.
