JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Swedish Board of Agriculture is one of the largest IT employers in the Jönköping region. In the development and digitalization department, over 200 people collaborate in various roles to meet both the organization’s and our customers’ needs for modern and efficient IT solutions. Within the department's walls, large-scale system development on multiple platforms, as well as operation, management, and support, takes place.
As a software developer, you will be part of one of our software development units, which is responsible for developing, streamlining, and managing the systems of the Swedish Board of Agriculture. An agile working method is the foundation of our operations, and we value that our employees continuously develop themselves, take initiative, and achieve results. In our work, it is important to start from the customer’s experience and use our resources effectively.
In each team, there are software developers, requirements analysts, testers, product owners, and team leaders. The team is responsible for the implementation of their specific operational areas in a large organization with many dependencies and integrations, where good collaboration with other teams and business experts is crucial for the final result.
The job responsibilities consist of implementation and integration within and between the various systems of the Swedish Board of Agriculture. In addition to software development, analysis and breakdown of solution proposals and system requirements, system design, and striving for improvements in both working methods and delivery quality together with the team are also included.
QUALIFICATIONS
To succeed in this role, you have the following qualifications:
- Relevant education in areas such as computer science, software development, or system architecture that is no older than 3 years.
- Experience and competence in Java and TypeScript.
- Experience with Jira, Scrum, and agile working methods.
- Experience with Angular, CQRS, and knowledge of Apache Camel.
- Experience and knowledge of Linux, Maven, Kubernetes, and Git or similar version control systems.
- Our working language is Swedish, so you need to have a good command of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.
We consider it an advantage if you also have:
- knowledge of the operations and mission of the Swedish Board of Agriculture
- experience in developing administrative processing systems
- navigation in file systems using tools like Bash.
