Within the Skarpnäck District Administration, we have LSS housing in our own management.

We are now looking for a support assistant for a longer full-time temporary position at one of our residences on Nissastigen in Bagarmossen. We offer

You will have a varied job with friendly colleagues in a group home where 6 adult users with disabilities live, and the work involves supporting individuals in their own apartments. Working hours are varied, including days, evenings, and weekends.

Your role

As a support assistant, you work to support, motivate, and assist users in their daily lives, as well as to interpret and clarify everyday situations. The work is characterized by a pedagogical approach, a clear and structured working method, and a low-arousal response. As a support assistant, you provide pedagogical and practical support with social activities, household chores, personal care, and transfers. You participate in the quality development of the operations and in various meetings, training sessions, and supervision.

Your qualifications and experience

You should have a high school education in the health and care program, child and leisure program, or other education deemed equivalent. It is advantageous if you have experience in the profession and are knowledgeable in LSS. You should have knowledge of low-arousal responses and approaches. Knowledge and experience of visual support and TAKK, as well as experience working with challenging behaviors, are advantageous.

We need you to be a secure and stable person with personal maturity. You have the ability to plan, structure, and prioritize in your daily work. You are humble, respectful, and adaptable in your interactions and approach. You have good collaboration skills and are happy to share your knowledge and experiences while being open to learning from others.

You will work as a support person, which means extra responsibility for one user. The work includes care.

You should have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing.
