The position is located at the Medical Library within the HR department.

The library is a hospital-wide support function with a mission to provide pedagogical and administrative support to the hospital's operations in digital learning. Our mission is also to be the hospital's center for scientific information supply so that healthcare staff always have access to the latest research in health and medical care.

Job Description

You will work broadly with various tasks at the library, but the main focus of this position is on digital learning and the role of system administrator and specialist in digital education. By participating in the operation and development of a platform with relevant e-courses and training, you contribute to ensuring that employees can work from a knowledge-based and evidence-based perspective.

During the implementation phase of a new regional IT support, Kompetenstorget, you will be part of the local project group for the implementation at the hospital. As we are in an exciting period of change regarding IT support, you will be able to contribute to building processes and working methods related to Kompetenstorget.

As a system administrator, you are responsible for building the e-courses in close dialogue with the operations. You are responsible for daily support and management of published e-courses, the course catalog, and system administration. You train administrators and other groups as needed, develop informational materials, and oversee the e-course production process.

You are expected to actively contribute to regional and local networks related to the current learning platform and the new IT support, Kompetenstorget.

Qualifications

You have an academic degree in media pedagogy/system science, library and information science, or a field we consider equivalent. You have experience and a very good understanding of IT and information systems. You are accustomed to creating digital education through current or previous work and can express yourself fluently in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.

In this position, we are looking for someone who wants to work with digital learning and system administration. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities in the recruitment process.

You are a pedagogical and development-oriented problem solver who enjoys working both in a small team and independently. The role includes being a support for the operations at the hospital. It is therefore important that you are used to and enjoy providing service and working in an environment where needs vary over time and sometimes require quick responses. We require very good communication skills and responsiveness. You are proactive, curious, and confident in yourself, and can handle many different tasks simultaneously.

You are part of the Medical Library's workgroup, which means you participate in the library's ongoing work with scheduled shifts in customer service and perform other tasks based on your skills and the organization's needs.

It is an advantage if you have experience from research libraries or special libraries. It is also advantageous if you have experience in creating digital education in RISE or Articulate 360.

About the Department

The primary mission of the HR department is to proactively contribute to the hospital's development and support the department's managers and employees in HR matters so that they have the right conditions to care for our patients and relatives in the best way possible. The HR department is an important partner in the discussion about how we are best equipped to meet future challenges. The department consists of the following units: Labor law and salaries, Personnel and development, Staffing center, Clinicum, AT organization, and Medical Library. The HR department has about 90 employees.
