Södra Cell Mönsterås is one of the largest pulp mills in the world. The mill's primary focus is on pulp production but also generates green electricity, district heating, and biofuels. The operation has a wide range of technical equipment with engaged employees who are not afraid to try new things.

We are now looking for two new team members to join our wonderful group in Mönsterås!

Your everyday life at Södra

As a systems engineer, you will belong to a unit consisting of both maintenance and systems engineers within electrical, instrumentation, and IT. Your points of contact will be several and include, for example, suppliers and consultants, both internal and external. Your main areas of work will include:

- Working with factory systems such as DCS systems and PLC/SCADA

- Industrial IT such as security, databases, programming, networks, and management.

- Documentation, maintenance, and development issues for our process and industrial IT systems.

- Participating in troubleshooting and problem-solving to ensure system reliability and performance.

- Contributing to investment projects during their implementation.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with a bachelor's degree in engineering with a focus on automation, computer science, or equivalent experience through education, certifications, and work experience.

Your personality is driven, a good listener, and always supports your colleagues. You are used to acting as a problem solver and can work both analytically and systematically.

Desirable but not required: Experience/knowledge of ABB 800xA or industrial IT systems.

The role involves two permanent full-time positions. Start date is according to agreement.

Other:

- B driver's license

- English spoken and written

- A passed drug test is mandatory for all who work at Södra before a contract is signed
