JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Elderly and Health and Care Administration is Sweden's largest municipal health and care provider. We have a clear ambition to develop the future of health and care. Here you can make a difference, both for the individual patient and for all of Gothenburg. We are now looking for engaged nurses for our teams in southwestern Gothenburg within ordinary housing, care homes, and short-term units. You can easily choose the area of operation you are interested in in your application, and based on interest and recruitment needs, your application will be distributed to one of our unit managers. We are based at F O Peterssons gata in Högsbo.

You lead the health and medical care work around the patient and make independent assessments of care interventions. Your role also includes identifying and preventing risks in care, mapping the patient's needs for health and medical care interventions, delegating tasks to nursing staff, and collaborating in interdisciplinary teams where you always have colleagues to consult.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. Further education in elderly care, psychiatry, or district nursing is meritorious for the position. If you have specialist training, you may receive an advanced assignment based on your specialist competence. We welcome both experienced nurses and those who are newly graduated. It is also an advantage if you have experience in municipal operations, but it is not a requirement for the position. A driver's license is required as you will travel to patients by car.

The role of a nurse requires you to independently overview, prioritize, and perform your tasks. The meeting with the individual and their relatives is an important part of the work, so we consider it important that you are attentive and provide a good response. In order to provide the best possible care, you also need to have good collaboration skills, as we are several working in teams around the patients. Furthermore, you take on your tasks responsibly and can independently overview, prioritize, and perform your tasks.
