Operations Technician/Coordinator for Outdoor Environment

Job Responsibilities

In the role of operations technician/coordinator for the outdoor environment, you will be our representative towards the client Regionfastigheter and the contractors currently engaged for Falkenberg, Varberg municipality, and Kungsbacka municipality.

As a coordinator for the outdoor environment, you are expected to maintain status inspections, operational meetings, orders, some supervision/maintenance of the properties, and follow-up on the agreement together with the Land Manager at Regionfastigheter.

Examples of tasks as a coordinator for the outdoor environment:

• Follow-up on agreements regarding goals, quality, and budget.
• Supervision/Maintenance of roofs, smoke hatches, roof safety, and gutters, etc.
• Maintain a plan for inspections regarding the outdoor environment and outdoor property-related maintenance.

Since the assignment stretches from Falkenberg to Kungsbacka, we expect you to be accustomed to working over a larger geographical area. Local presence is a prerequisite for maintaining a good outdoor environment. Your contribution to the team as our new colleague is very important, where personality is of great significance to fit into the group.

About the Workplace

Teknik och fastighet is a department within the Regionservice administration tasked with delivering operations and services for Region Halland's properties and technical installations. We have expertise in areas such as technical management, electrical, HVAC, gas, control & regulation technology, mechanics, outdoor environment, and energy. We have 75 employees and are present throughout the region.

We fulfill our mission with a mix of our own staff and subcontractors. Our strength lies in being versatile yet specialized in the systems that maintain safe and secure operations in the more protected properties in Halland. Qualifications

We are looking for someone educated in gardening or another suitable education that we find equivalent. Extra plus if you have worked with supervision and maintenance of properties. It is advantageous if you have previous experience in similar work, but we also seek those who are new to the field and want to come to Region Halland to grow and develop in their role!

You have very good IT skills within the Office package. It is a plus if you have experience working in case management systems, preferably in Facilitate and GIS maps. A B driver's license is required for the assignment.
